Trust and Truth

Have you ever trusted God so much that you just laid down everything you were thinking and just started doing what He has designed you to do?
Maybe you don't know what God has designed you to do.... If that's you, then I want to ask you to pause and pray for God to reveal this to you. When we pray, He shows up in ways that we cannot even imagine and He longs to show us what we were made for.
I pray this encourages you today. Longing for God is a precious opportunity to see Him as He is and see yourself the way He sees you. So open your heart and mind to the wonderful things Jesus has for you today and lay down all the thoughts and concerns that are hindering you from having a full-on relationship with your Heavenly Father.
If you are not sure where to start, I would say that one thing I know you are able to do today is give Grace. God is giving us Grace every single moment of our lives and we can do the same for others... When we show Grace, we are extending God's love to them. Grace encourages, Grace sustains, Grace helps us move forward, Grace shines God's light to people, Grace reaches the hurting, suffering and dying with eternal hope.
How about Mercy? Has there been a time in your life when you found yourself being Merciful? Showing compassion to someone when they are suffering, or extending forgiveness and love when someone didn't deserve it? Maybe you have the gift of Mercy...? Do you forgive people easily? God's Mercy extends to all generations, of those who fear Him (Luke 1:50). Lamentations 3:22-23 says, "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
So, hopefully now you can see that when you show Mercy and Grace to someone, you are showing them who God is. This honors our LORD, God, gives Him glory for who He is and extends blessing and truth to the receiver.
Let me leave you with this...You must remember who and whose you are. These are the attributes that our LORD, God, has given us in and through the sacrifice of His one and only Son, Jesus Christ. But they are not just for us. They are given to us so we can give them to others. I love you...and encourage you today, to remember that Grace is coming to us in every single moment so, we can extend that Grace to others - and showing Mercy to someone extends compassion for those suffering, both physically and spiritually...something that God has shown us.
God loves us and we are to love our brothers and sisters. We do that by extending God's Grace and Mercy to them.
May you always find your joy and great riches in showing compassion to others...For God is always showing His compassion to you.
