Overcoming Fear without Doubt

Too many times we think we know what we need, and that thing is something to be obtained, but in reality what we need is to not doubt.

If we let fear take any place in our lives, it brings discouragement and makes us think we cannot overcome it.  But the reality is that we have already overcome by the blood of the lamb and the Word of our testimony and what we really need is to just believe it!

What does James say in chapter one, verse 6?  “But let him ask in faith, never wavering; for he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.”

What has God said to you?  What has He promised?

He has promised the Holy Spirit as our advocate, to help us and be with us FOREVER – The Spirit of Truth.  You know Him, for He lives with you and will be in you ( John 14:16-17)

He has promised never to leave you or abandon you – (Hebrews 13:5)

He says, “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you.  I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)

He promises to meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.

(Phil 4:19)

He promises that no temptation has seized you which is not common to man and that He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear; and when you are tempted, He will provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. (1 Cor 10:13)

He promises that if you abide in Him and His Words abide in you, you can ask anything you wish and it will be done for you!  (John 15:7)

He promises to be faithful.  “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”  (Heb 10:23)

Even when you feel like you are in the lion’s den… Remember Daniel?  What did he do?  Did he fear and falter and worry about his circumstance?  And what a circumstance that was!  NO!  He directed his gaze toward the East and he prayed to God.  That is a perfect example of lifting our situation to God without fear and doubt.

So, whatever you are facing right now, I want to encourage you to lift up your eyes to your Heavenly Father and ask Him for what you need, without doubting Him.  He is a faithful God, and He NEVER fails us!  He never fails YOU!  Believe in Him today and let Him do His work in you.  You won’t be disappointed.  God has great plans for your life!
