Christ's Return

We are all waiting… waiting for Christ to return, to bring His Bride home.  How good for us to be thinking on these things, while we wait.  Jesus said, “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.” (Matthew 24:36), so we can trust Him for this and focus our attention on praise and worship, which He so dearly deserves. 

Lord, help us to be aware of You and Your Word.  Lead us into a new place with You as we trust You and call on Your Name. 

We all have things going on in our lives.  May I say that we sometimes let that get in the way of our worship?  Other people can do this, decisions that we need to make or just life stuff keeps us distracted.  Well, I want to encourage you, God knows everything…let’s pause and think on that for a minute.  So, because of that, we can trust Him with it all - We don’t have to stay up nights thinking about anything.  When we do that, it gives us freedom to just sit with Him, in His Divine presence, and listen to His heart.  Isn’t that what you want?  To hear His voice?  To listen to Him speaking to you?  Isn’t that what we all long for? …what we all desire?

The Devil is an imposter.  God wants our obedience.  Please ask Him for discernment to distinguish between the spirits (Divine, Demonic or human) – this is a gift of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor 12:10).  We know from 1 John 4:1-6 that we should not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false Prophets have gone out into the world. 

This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God.  Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God.  This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.”  Verse 6 says, “We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us.  This is how we recognize the spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood. 

This is the path we walk.
